Before using your new oven
to tableware, remove item from package, remove all labels and soak it in hot
soapy water. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Rinse well and
dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Oven proof to 482 degrees F, 250 degrees C,
or Gas Mark 9. When browning under a broiler, allow for a 5cm/2" gap, at
a minimum, from the dish to the heat source. Do not heat an empty vessel in
a microwave oven, it may become too hot to handle, crack or break. Never place
porcelain in contact with a naked flame or direct heat. Do not place directly
on a hot plate. Do not subject porcelain to extreme temperature change. Always
use oven gloves when handling hot pans do not handle a hot porcelain item with
a wet or cold cloth.
